THE UNIVERSITY OF REPAIR
WHAT WE DO:
The University of Repair (UoR) is a series of interventions reimagining learning spaces and offering communal knowledge sharing, using the ‘groundings’ principles laid down by Dr Walter Rodney.
The program platforms, develops and encourages practical approaches to wholistic repair. Our interventions build personal and collective resilience, referencing traditional African technologies as a counter practice to ways of knowing and doing that do not serve the upliftment of African heritage communities.
Most importantly, UoR facilitates a safe space for our community to have intergenerational knowledge sharing, support and guidance that supports a wholistic approach to learning and levity. The aim is action led and orientated thus providing a ground to attain a life scholarship through practice.
